I find it noisy. I have not found a good product that was still usable a day after the card was prepared although others on the thread have had better luck and Karl has been very nice about answering emails and providing all the support he could.

Heinsteins Dream y Karl Hein
Karl strikes again! Karl has a habit of only putting out good working material. Packaging: you get a DVD in a nicely designed slipcase. I know what you're thinking...another T&R However, Karl gives you several performance options of which my favorite is in the spectators hands. (I have to agree with Jordi on that one!) One of the other great aspects of Heinsteins Dream is that once you have performed for one group you're ready to go again! The directions are clear and easy to understand. I was able to add this to my close-up set quickly and will be using it longterm. This one is a great deal for only 29.95 |

Does anyone who has performed this for a while know how long you can leave the cards in a setup state before they don't work properly anymore? Thanks.

Once again I'm VERY late to the party (a couple years), but I just ran across this effect after wanting to get back into magic and am impressed. I read a review that stated that Mr. Hein teaches how to gaff a whole deck and you can perform this 52 times before having to remake more. How true is this review? If it's legit, I'm SOLD.

It's true but you can't use the deck for anything else than this trick. And you can only do 26 times the trick with one setup deck.

Very strange this one. All glowing reviews up until the last page which states that the gimmick is too noisy.

Just got this today and all I can say is WOW! I contacted Mr. Hein himself about it before ordering and he told me that if I ordered directly from him, he'd also include the special something needed for this effect and I'm SO glad that I did order from him directly! The dvd is awesome, he pauses at points where details are important and actually highlights the still frame to show exactly what he's talking about. I'll definitely be performing this, especially the flash restore and the 'in the spectator's hand'. The piece by piece restoration will take a bit more practice, but it's going to be time well spent. Mr. Hein really did an awesome job on this and it's worth every penny imo

Have had the DVD for awhile, just watched it again and figured would see if any new reviews. One interesting thread, and not saying I won't try this! But anyone performing this, noise issues??,will be performing mostly in bar situations. I have more than enough supplies to make a few decks! Just want an honest opinion.

After watched Karl Hein performed and explain it LIVE on his lecture, Heinstein's Dream is definitely one of the most practical piece by peice torn and restored card available.

Like wolfie66 I'm really late to the party on this! A few more years since the last post!
I have some T&R card effects but this one really looks great...and the video sounds like it's really well made and easy to follow. Very curious if everybody is still using this and what they think of it at this later date. I don't see any newer versions that look better. Hope to see some some thoughts. Thanks!! |
