Does anyone know where I can find instructions on a flat weave that alternates between 2 bubbles and 1.
I saw Addi use it on ep5 of the Unpoppables to make the wedding cake. For the life of me I can't figure it out. It seems like a very useful weave to know.

Off the top of my head ... do a standard 2 balloon flat weave but alternate a separate single balloon for every other step.

Brian came up with that as a concept for a tunnel, and Addi liked the idea and used it for the cake. We never did a small scale version of it, so there really is no method for doing with with 260s. It literally is just connecting rows of two 646s tied together, then a single 646, two 646s, one 646, etc. Doing it small scale would require a lot of breaking off and adding balloons if you were to approach it like the traditional flat weave.

Thanks Rob and Wes.
The closest I've come is when after the single bubble you have both balloons on the same side is to squeeze them together to form the spacer bubble, then make the pinch twist from one of them and continue. I'll keep playing with it.
It's too bad they weren't able to do more of those shows.
