Hello all!

My name is Dave I have been doing magic for over 10 years, mostly back in college when I owned a DJ/MC Company and used it mostly for entertaining at shows/conventions. Then I graduated got a so called "Real Job" in that for several years I worked 70+ hours a week at. A little over a year ago I got really sick and developed a rare heart condition due to a bad infection. It has caused me to be unable to work, sometimes hard to even function and caused great anxiety to go from being a normal health person to not knowing when your going to pass out next or worse. After finally finding some specialists that have dealt with my condition I have been slowly able to get back to doing more normal activities. I started doing magic again in the hospital for the other patients (seen as how I was always ending up there) and it was one of the few things that I could focus on and made me happy to bring a smile to other people faces. Anyways I look forward to talking with you all on here as I continue my healing process with the power of MAGIC !

I love that in the midst of your recuperation you are taking joy from entertaining others.

Are you mostly into Close-Up and Parlor sized Magic or Stage as well?

I've mostly done close up as I would table hop around weddings and conventions I was working. However I really like the stage stuff and larger illusions. Years ago I did a few comedy club shows and those were the most fun but it didn't pay the bills. Now that I don't care about that I will probly focus on things like that as well as schools and children's things. Obviously two different acts but will let me get both sides of my personality out
