If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

For me, there is a difference between macho and astonishment. This program was on "macho". I understand the reasons and I would further speculate that it attracts the magi-thugs. Maybe some thugs out there can defend DMC on this "documentary" if they so choose. I'm going to give this program 3/10 stars. It was visually polished and narrated with compunction, like things are done these days, but I disliked it for several reasons. 1) The Monte expose was missing the "actors". 2) No mention of 2nds, when bottoms were 3) The glass-shard roulette trick came off as cruel/indifferent (no thanks). 4) The acid roulette didn't really work. The performer knew where the acid was and thus, could have stopped, had it been chosen. The performer DID openly switch the last two choices (It could be assumed he knew at that point which was 'bad').
Hence, all the fumes but no gas. Give me an 'Our Magic' special by the Buck twins, or something Paul Daniels, a BBC Magic History or Albert Goshman. Please and thankyou, ~E
It's not their senses that mislead, it's their assumptions.
