Nice routine. Why aren't balls included?

Thank you, Eric.
In regards to the balls: The most common balls sold today by magic dealers for “Modern” Cups and Balls are crochet covered cork balls, leather monkey fist balls, rubber balls, pom pom balls and sponge balls. None of these will work very well for performing Cheppum Panthum. The traditional style textile ball used for hundreds of years by Indian magicians is the most superior to use for Cheppum Panthum. The textile ball has all the perfect characteristics for performing Cheppum Panthum. It is very easy to make your own balls. There are many benefits in making your own balls: 1. The cost is very little, less than a dollar a ball. 2. You have a free choice of hundreds of different colors to use. 3. You can make the ball the perfect size for your hand. 4. You can control the amount of compressibility the ball has. 5. You can control the amount of grip the ball has. 6. You can easily repair the ball. 7. You can clean the ball. 8. You are self sufficient and will not have to rely on others for balls. If you want to maximize your proficiency in learning and performing Cheppum Panthum, you will be better off making your own balls. You can see some balls here: http://s1093.photobucket.com/user/jadoos......3&page=2 |

Those are very beautiful cups and the routine really fooled me. It's a little out of my budget at the moment, but I'm going to keep this on my radar.

Gary generously donated a set of the cups and the wand to the Cups and Balls Museum some time ago. Now he has released the real work on this classic of Indian magic. I purchased the book just about an hour ago, and I am very impressed. There are techniques in this book that have never been in print before.
It's definitely worth the price. Very well done, Gary!!!!

Gary wow, congratulations!
The techniques and moves developed for that seating posture are amazing! India the place of illusions - those guys spent lot of their time in the art of deception. |
