Just out of curiosity. As far as I know, I've never seen such a deck. So, my question is, why didn't anyone ever design a deck of cards with a simple and ordinary Ace of Spades just like the other 3 A's?

I would venture to guess that the Ace of Spades is the "Trademark Card" of any given deck.

I know that. I just think it would be nice to have a simple deck of cards. No trademarks, company name, logo, etc. Just a thought.

The Ace of Spades for a long time was the Tax card. It was special. The vender would sell you 51 cards and would have to go to the tax office pay your tax and get the AoS. http://i-p-c-s.org/faq/ace-of-spades.php

We debuted the NOC deck about 1.5 years ago and it has proven to be quite popular. We've made them in a variety of colors, but in terms of design, it doesn't get too much simpler.
Currently the only color we have available directly is the Black deck (link below). If you're interested in other colors, they should still be available at some 3rd party sellers and/or ebay. The Ace of Spades is still a bit bigger than the other Aces per tradition, but it's a relatively simple Ace compared to many. http://thebluecrown.com/black-noc-deck.html Kevin
