Hey, finally found an email address that could work with magic Café.

19 yr old business student @ usyd. I grew up watching david blaine perform street magic alot, which is actually what got me into magic really. never really did anything about it until a few weeks back where I decide to just go get a bunch of stuff of penguin magic and perform to students at my uni or around sydney CBD(darling harbour circular quay), which I still have to find confidence to approach. Also whenever I see a line, like a long line, or a group just sitting together I would like to entertain people with magic, but never have that confidence to do it, wish me luck for that in the coming weeks.
Magic Café has been really helpful in terms of reviews for particular trick so I know what to get of penguin magic.
also I use to do a lot of non gimmicked card tricks and coin tricks, rubber band etc and now have decided to go further ahead and do gimmicked stuff, so got a whole bunch of stuff of penguin magic (at least $200+)
it sucks how they are not many well known magicians in australia.

btw Dresscode is the first ever trick I used to perform to a total stranger. Calen Morelli you are a genius, awesome and inspirational.

Welcome cricketer15,

You might be better off to take one effect and concentrate of getting it right than in getting a lot of new stuff at once.
Nothing you can buy will make you a good magician. Only good practice and attention to detail will do that.

Still, you just got a lot of new stuff and hopefully the effects are strong which is important.
Work on one or two at a time and have fun.

Congratulations on performing for a total stranger. The more you work the easier it gets.
