I am wondering if anyone owned the ebook before? If yes, can you please provide a brief review of it?

Jheff did a review of it: Imagine my surprise when my distributor listed this book
with the notation that it's out of print and discontinued. Apparently a cache of these hardcover books, first published in 1988, was found and it is the last of these. Unfortunately, there are no groundbreaking techniques here as one might infer when the blurb says that the book contains "simple techniques Berglas has devised." The ones in the book are the basic ones found in most books on memory. However, there are some fascinating exercises and explanations which I had not seen before and make the principles and techniques easy to understand. It's also a short book and a quick read, although you will have to spend time going back over the book as you master these basic skills. The first part of the book contains three chapters by Guy Lyon Playfair and the second part contains twelve chapters by David Berglas. PART ONE by Guy Lyon Playfair 1 The Kennedy Effect 2 The Behaviour of Memory 3 A Helpful Ostrich PART TWO by David Berglas 4 Motivation and Programming 5 Seeing and Remembering 6 Sight and Sound 7 The Chain System 8 Remembering Intangibles 9 The Peg System 10 Key Words 11 The Figure Alphabet 12 Names and Faces 13 Facts and Figures 14 The Basic Rules of Memory 15 A Question of Memory Appendix Seeing as how the last two books about David Berglas now command high prices, this book, priced at $30, is probably a good collector's item. It does include a book plate signed by David Berglas. If you've already mastered basic memory techniques, you probably won't get much from this except a very enjoyable read by a master of the craft. However, if you haven't learned memory techniques (such as the Chain System or the Peg System), this is a good text to get on the subject. While it's still available, of course.
One of my favorite quotes: "A critic is a legless man who teaches running."

Picked one up today from my local brick and mortar shop. Looks like a good read! I haven't studied other memory techniques in the past, so I'm excited to dig into this one.
