Happy to announce that I officially released "Thought-Slicing" at Mindvention, at a special price, and want to extend the offer to everyone on The Café.
Thought-Slicing is an 'intuition-themed' stage effect with two unique attributes. 1. The routine has two distinct phases. In the first, your spectator (as well as members of your audience) 'intuit' the image on a jig-saw puzzle, without ever seeing the completed puzzle. What's really cool, is that what you claim is occurring ('thin-slicing') is what's actually happening in this first-phase! In other words, they are using their intuition to deduce the image on the puzzle! In the second phase, they find a single missing piece from the puzzle, without using a force/change bag or any other paraphernalia! All the puzzle pieces are dumped on a table and the spectator has a free choice (or free choices). 2. Your custom logo appears on the other side of the 3' X 2' oval puzzle, ensuring that your name/brand, are on stage with you at all times. When you reveal the puzzle image, you simply turn the puzzle around (and can return the logo side when the routine is over). This is a road-tested routine that I've been performing during both my keynote presentations and stage show, for over 4 years. This year, a handful of other performers around the globe have also been performing the routine (you'll find their comments on the web site). I am offering Thought-Slicing in limited numbers (only 25 more will be sold), at $499 + shipping. This includes the custom-made puzzle featuring your full-size colour logo, easel, puzzle pieces, carrying bag (that can also accommodate most people's entire show), and various added items. But, as mentioned, I made an introductory offer during Mindvention and want to extend it to the end of November to those who weren't able to make it to Vegas. Until November 30, you'll get the complete routine,as described, for $399 + shipping! As each puzzle is custom-made, there is about a 2-week production time on each order. To find out more I invite you to visit my web site (you can now also order The White Box there): http://ericsamuels.com/products/ |

I must not be a mentalist, I couldn't answer the password question.

The Password is the First name of the person, all in Uppercase (CAPS).
If you're having problems, just send me a PM. Cheers, Eric |

Try using the long version of his fist name instead of the short one.
The one that makes him sound like a college professor instead of a mentalist.

Good point, Jack.
I'll clarify that to "(full) first name," on the site. Cheers, e |

The same mentalist has been providing password services on so many websites now.

I bought one after seeing Eric's fantastic performance at MindVention - think Mona Lisa but on steroids and far cleaner handling too with a superb storyline.
It's a beautiful piece with the added benefit that the reverse side can be customized with your name and logo on it. Great job as usual Eric.

Highest recommendation for this. In particular, an excellent performance piece for the corporate mentalist.
A modern sophisticated approach to a sure fire crowd pleasing effect.

I've moved my products off my main web site onto a new dedicated site.
So for anyone interested in "Thought-Slicing" or "The White Box," they can both be found at http://www.MentalismTools.com For anyone having difficulties with the password, it's all UPPER CASE and the performer's full first name. PM me if you have any issues accessing the site. Cheers, e |

I'll add my voice to the chorus.
In addition to being an incredible stage or parlour effect routined with multiple moments of astonishment-- which is well-worth the price-- there is also: Several simple, ingenious methodologies cancelling each other out as the routine moves along. A terrific script that is great for public or corporate shows-- and easily adaptable for any kind of audience. What I would consider a crazy customer service extra that would typically be a DIY project in any other release that Eric provides custom-made that allows you not only to perform this whenever you like-- but perform it with Style. Congrats Eric!... now about that White Box... d

Thanks, D-Mo!
Something worth mentioning is that with 'Thought-Slicing,' you not only get your custom logo on one side of the puzzle (laminated so that it looks great for a very long time), but the opportunity to actually have a custom logo created for you, at a crazy low price, if you don't already have one! Indeed, I know several performers (myself included) who have paid more than the cost of 'Thought-Slicing' itself, for a logo design. I have struck a deal with two logo artists, so that when designing a new logo done for a performer, they not only get it done for a ridiculously low price, but the logo is theirs to keep and use for any other purposes from business cards to signs, stickers, etc. To be clear, this service is at additional cost, but at a fraction of what you would normally pay a graphic designer. BTW, you certainly don't need to use my graphics guys. There are several extraordinarily talented logo designers who are Café members and do great work at a reasonable price! Cheers, e |

Is there a demo of the performance available anywhere?

Folks who attended Mindvention will have seen the entire presentation (at least one variation of it), but I don't plan on releasing a full performance video. That said, we are working on a demo that will feature elements of the presentation as well as additional information on the unique attributes of the routine. Hope to have that done within a couple of weeks. And, as is the case with everything that I sell, I will always make myself available to Skype and discuss my products in greater detail. Just send me a PM and we can set something up. Same applies to "The White Box." Cheers, Eric |
