On Nov 20-22, my figures and puppets will be displayed in a mall in celebration of my 25th year as an entertainer. We will have the following activites...

Nov 20- Photo ops and Video presentation
Nov 21- Motivational Talk and Basic Puppetry Workshop
Nov 22- "Talentadong Pinoy para sa Leyte" a fund rasing show featuring the reunion and performances of finalists of our local TV talent contest. We will be accepting donations and UNTV, a TV station will be there to accept the donations.

If you wish to help... I will make sure in God's help that your donations will be received by the people who are dying of starvation. UNTV is a respected and trusted TV network which is why we chose them to receive the donations.

I can only accept your donations on or before Nov 20...so I can turn them over to the UNTV staff in charge of collecting the funds at the show.

Wanlu, according to NBC news both governments and NGO (Non Governmental Organizations i.e. Red Cross) are tripping each other trying to bring aid. What's the real story?

I can't say anything for the Government... let the foreign media tell the story.

What I can share is the fact that foreign aids are pouring but there are delays in getting them to the people of Leyte.

UNTV... the one who will collect these funds I'm getting from our vent friends as well as the items we will get from our Nov 22 Mall Show directly helps the people of Tacloban tru their fascilities present on ground zero.
UNTV is a Christian network and I am proud to say I am part of the Church behind UNTV.

I am pleased to report that we had a succesful show yesterday. I had a 3 day exhibit and the last day featured our fund raising show for Tacloban, Leyte.

Last Dec 25, I volunteered to go to Tacloban to entertain the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda...
I have a short video report about it which will be on the IVS Spotlite soon.

On Feb 3, God willing... I will be back in Tacloban to teach the children some basic puppetry under the makeshift classrooms of CNN hero Mr Efren Peñaflorida.

I have asked some friends to donate knee socks to be used in the class as sock puppets. In case anyone can spare some knee socks and send it to me, I would make sure more kids in Tacloban will be part of the classes.
