I ended up buying way too much to learn at one time. I've now taken a break for a few months from buying anything. I still check out the Cool Box a few times a day though.

Penguin magic is one of the best marketing magic shops out there, with the cool box, blizzard, and you can even watch them pack your order. I always found that innovative. Unfortunately I don't live close enough to penguin headquarters so I have to wait 2-3 days for the package to arrive with all my goodies.

I like the "old" cool box more...simply because they hardly had the same tricks there twice, and some of them could be tricks that I missed when they first came out. Now, they have the same tricks in the cool box over and over again.

Agree, that while I love the idea of the coolbox, they do seem to cycle through the same batch of tricks almost on a loop. Wish there was some more variety as to whats offered

Plus, with Penguin's 4 card monte you get a very nice gimmick that you can also use for replacements for NFW or ACE.
Not bad for a penny, in fact probably the best deal in magic.
I only wish they would let you buy 25 of them for a quarter!

Seems like the Cool Box Deal has jumped the shark. Pretty much the same handful of items over and over.
