I want to finish my sponge ball routine with a 5" sponge ball growing slowly from my hands.
How and where do you keep it folded until it's ready for the production? I have to fold it twice and keep it compressed in order to make it look like a 2" ball. How can I store it folded and squeezed tight?

Many people have it folded and tucked into the belt/pants to one side at the back.

You could also slip it into a Banker's clip or possibly hold it folded with a Clothes pin. Wedge it in the corner of your back pocket (this is where I keep the baby bunnies)

Al Kazam & Ramin,
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try your ideas. A 5" sponge ball requires a lot of compression to make it look like a 2" ball. I don't want to fumble when I pull it out. I'm still practicing my routine, so I'll see how it works out. Thanks.

You could use Goshman's Growing Ball gimmick too. It starts out looking like a 2" ball, then grows in the hand.
