Going to see it tomorrow. Thanks, I may have missed it without your tip.

I don't have to see it, I lived it.
During my first year of school, some scoundrel ran off with my book bag whilst waiting for my train. I'm certain that my books were thrown into the garbage whilst he was looking for valuables. It was such a hardship for a young broke student to scrounge up more money for books whilst skipping meals for almost a month(Thank heaven for Ramen). Thanks for the wonderful review Arthur(lol). Please throw us a bone, tell us about the film? |

Devious, it's not just a movie ... it's an experience. Beautifully written, filmed, cast, and acted. The musical score by John Williams (who I usually don't like too much) is perfect. The film is incredibly moving and you'll find yourself involved from the first minute.
Don't want to spoil your experience by describing the plot. Just do yourself a favor and see it. |

Saw it today. Arthur's description and advice is right on the mark.

I am sure I have seen this before but as a play.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I had my books in a laptop style bag, so almost certainly the thief was hoping for electronics and not paper. Surprisingly, it was one of the best things that could have happened to me. I didn't replace the books: initially due to poverty, then due to laziness, and finally I realized I just didn't need them. So I went the rest of the time without buying any textbooks. I got a bit of a reputation as a weirdo, but it was well worth the money and back pain saved. |
