I just received a jumbo load 3D sponge rabbit to compliment my set of other 3D sponge rabbits. My question is, when should I use it in my routine? I do a standard routine where two regular sized rabbits jump from hand to hand, pocket to hand, and finally multiply into many small rabbits. I just don't know when it would be appropriate to bring in the big one without taking away from what I've already got.

Hi Christian,
I also recently received that beautiful Gosh 3D sponge bunny and would like to incorporate it into my sponge bunny routine. It's a big load to fit into one's hand but it sure would be nice to produce it somehow. So, I am also hoping that some of the knowledgeable and experienced people here respond to your request. Sorry I am not answering your question about how to do it. Richard |

Oooh Jumbo 3D sponge bunny!!! I've got to get me one of those!!!
What I would do, is use it as a body load, and after you've completed your regular routine, and the spectator is picking up all the little bunnies off the ground, do the steal. Collect the bunnies from the spectator, do a fake transfer to your loaded hand, and then give them the Jumbo Bunny, and when they open they're hand, the small bunnies have magically transformed in to a large bunny. That's my thought anyway.
There are many different ways to cut an apple.

Thanks for the input. I tried that switch but the problem is the load is just too big to get away with a false transfer. Well, it's very hard to make it look convincing. The only reason it worked for me was because I had some extreme misdirection.

The rabbit, is to be used (at least I do) at the end - for instance, "and the rabbits are one big happy family."
Its Corny, but it works.
Of course I can float, - can i borrow a jet pack from the audience please?

I start by pulling a small rabit out of their ear to produce it. At the end, I take one rabit and do rabit through the pocket stealing the jumbo rabit, and end producing the jumbo out of their ear as well. Always gets huge reactions!

After your regular routine and putting them away tell the spectator other uses you have for the bunnies. Take one of the babies and wipe your brow. The Jumbo bunny inflates within your hand as you wipe.

You could perform Carl Andrew's great sponge Ball routine "There Ain't No Mo" using 3-D bunnies instead. This gives a logical reason to introduce the Jumbo bunny at the beginning instead of stealing it and trying to conceal the large load. Use the Jumbo bunny, and the 2 adult bunnies from the regular set to do this routine. Carl's patter is hilarious and his routining is brilliant. The ending could culminate in producing the little bunnies if desired.
This routine plays very strong and I used it yesterday while strolling for 200 people. I had adults and kids following me around as I did my regular 3-D bunny routine. I then decided to switch to Carl Andrew's routine using 1 adult bunny and 2 small bunnies from the reguar set (I don't have the Jumbo). I left the same people baffled! Try it. |

I haven't seen the 3D jumbo sponge bunny. Here's the question. Is it the same color as your regular sponge bunnies?
Does it have a hole in it, that is, is it hollow?

Hi Bill,
Gosh's Jumbo 3D sponge bunny is the same color (actually colors) as his regular size bunnies. Also, it is not hollow. Richard |

Keith,
I apologize for not responding sooner. You can see Carl perform his routine "Ain't No Mo" on his video No Jacket Required, or on his DVD Table Hopping Cups and Balls. Hope this helps. |

Does anyone have the "Rabbit Explosion" manufacured by Tenyo? The gimmicked holder can allow you to keep 40 sponge rabbits in your hand.

Sorry to drag up such an old thread.
I've used Carl's Ain't no mo routine for a long time. I fancy a change and would like to try out the bunnies but I'm struggling a bit with a routine. How do you guys think this would play: 1. Jumbo and regular bunnies shown. Regular goes in my hand - jumbo goes in their hand. Reveal both bunnies now in their hand. 2. Jumbo put into another specs hand. Regular put into my pocket. Spec opens hand and has both rabbits back. 3. Both rabbits now get put into someone else's hand. Reveal - both rabbits in their hand plus they now babies. Do you guys think this routine will play ok? I don't like going to the pocket in phase 2 but need to for obvious reasons |

Get two Jumbo 3D rabbits and five adult 3D rabbits and do stage version on the 3D rabbits.
