Hi All: Long time lurker, first time poster. After many years away, I have decided to just back in with both feet. I must say I love it. I like close up and plateform/stage and have been doing these for family now for awhile. I just recently did a show at work and that has gotten me a childs birthday party. Kinda nervous, but what can you do but prepare, and practise. I look forward to many conversations with you all here on the Café.

What kind of Magic did you like before you quit?

I thought liked the big illusions. I grew up watching David Copperfield on TV and I thought that was the way to go. As I got older I realized that performing close up was more gratifying

And easier to afford and carry. LOL
