Hi. I recently saw a clip somewhere of a small gimmick that could squeeze out small amounts of smoke. Basically, I'm looking for a small gimmick that can produce small amounts of smoke and can be concealed in the palm.
My main requirement is something that can produce smoke without the use of fire. (In that sense, I will even be fine buying something that will produce something similar to smoke, such as mist or fog.)If anyone knows anything of where I can find something like this, I would appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time. Sincerely, Peter.

Sweet. Thank you for the reply. Do you remember where you saw it, or anything else about it?
I found the website. For anyone interested the address is http://www.proofpositiveinc.com It looks pretty cool, but I'm actually reffering to something smaller and cheaper I saw. I'll reply later if I find out.

If I remember correctly - the chemical in the smoke 2000 actually eats through the tubing if it is left in the for a while....hmmmm
The guy that invented it ( I believe his name is Tom) did it wonders at the IBM in LA a few years back !

I love it, carry it, and use it
BUT Beware It does eat up certain fabrics and rusts the heck out of the safety pins that mount it to your clothing. Oh, yeah...it crystalizes and clogs the tubes also as Kline noted. Why would you still want it...Because it is Great! Sometimes effects are worth the problems and this is one of them. Keep it cleaned and well maintained and don't hang up your jacket and forget about it for 4 or 5 months (which is how I damaged my clothing). Once mounted it is easy to carry around and make smoke appear at your hands wherever you go. It gets a great day to day response outside of performances.

The Tiny Fogger that Fitz mentions has been discussed in another thread here as well. It is a great little unit. It has been used by Cher and several other big name music acts. It is small enough to conceal in your hand while on stage. It has a built in battery and and can be the perfect little device for the Wiz Cote shoe illusion if you don't want to use pyro.
We are a dealer for Theatre Effects...if anyone is interested in one I will get you a great price on it.
