I think that all those items give a great atmosphere about the 20's era. So, even if they're replicas, they may have been the souvenirs from a tourist (or an archaeologist) in Egypt at that time, when the tumb of Tut Ankh Amon was discovered. Plus, they may be useful for certain aspects of the stories...

Indeed, even replicas have historicity if you let them age (or make replicas of those )
