This looks very visual. Not so sure how it will work with our Australian plastic money, going up town shortly to convert some money to US dollar bills. I have no idea where, I've never had to convert money over to a different currency for a very long time.

Im also from Australia, just wondering if this could be done with currency that is more plastic and less paper like?

I'm gonna buy it anyways its 4.95 and test it out with the AUD bill.

If you could inform us if this works with our notes, that would be great.

I went up town, gone to three banks, I could not get a single US dollar note. Banks would only provide US notes if I purchased minimum $500.00 worth, and could not get them for at least a week. There's no money exchanges where I live. I had no idea you could not get any US notes here, all I wanted was a few dollar bills.

I'm going to have to stop purchasing these tricks that require notes because I don't think our plastic money works as well as your US paper notes and I don't own a color #r**&^ in-case your wondering why I don't try myself.

I agree - it's a nice way to reference similar effects for further research.

I am ok with someone saying "This reminds me of this" but saying it's the same method when it's clearly not shows a lack of research on their part that is aggrivating. (No offense to the original poster, it's just a pet peeve of mine. carry on)

Just got this and have a slight problem in the UK.
I can't scan any UK money to make the gimmick.
My printer won't let me (fraud issue I guess)

Anyone in the UK help?

Thanks

I hear you Stucky and agree with what you're saying. I just happen to find entertainment in the ignorance of others rather than getting aggravated. Smile I can't tell you how any times I researched something that was mentioned in a post & thought to myself, that statement has absolutely nothing to do with this topic whatsoever. I've been a lurker for years and finally decided to get an account to chime in on things. I can't wait to get into my first "battle" with someone on here. lol

I've had the same issue in the past too with UK currency. My scanner seems to recognise it's money so won't scan it!

Shame, as I really like the look of this.

Iain,

You could use a real tenner if you really wanted to do it. It just means you have 2 x £10's tied up in the gimmick.

best,

I gave this a try just now, I printed a fake monopoly money using my laser printer, made up the gimmick, did it right the first time, and it works great. I used normal printing paper for the fake money, I don't know how this paper compares with your US dollar notes, but from what I can tell in the Video it creases the same. Our Australian plastic money is very difficult to get a crease into, I think it's impossible to crease our notes as flat as the fake paper money I printed. It's getting late now, I will try a Australian Note in the morning with some double sided tape and see if it's successful or not.

Just make sure they are not friends with a moderator first. (Now back to your regularly schedule product pimping.)

I ordered this from Penguin because I was impressed with the change in SIZE from the play money to the regular size bill. I think that is the secret of it's appeal.

But I keep reading about PDF's that are supposed to come with it. Since I ordered it as an instant download from Penguin, that means I don't have access to the PDF's??

The PDF's should also be available for download separately from the video.
Each PDF needs to be downloaded individually.
When you downloaded the video, were there not 4 PDF's next to it?

It was clearly noted as being on sale yesterday for half price. They seem to do this with most of their one-trick instant downloads.

Videoman,

Thanks! I finally found them!

Sometimes things are hard to see on this I-phone screen.

Won't do me much good, though, since I don't have a p.c. or printer, but at least they are there if I ever get one in the future

I suppose I could use real Monopoly money if I had some, but I don't have any.

I went to a thrift shop and bought an old Monopoly game.

I see people do this constantly on this forum. They compare on trick to anotheer when they are clearly different. Either in method or presentation. It amuses and saddens me at the same time.

SIMILAR is ment by what it say's , SIMILAR ,I never said it was the SAME.
