I saw an effect a ways back that caught my eye. It's fairly simple but I can't remember the entire routine. It involves a regular deck, miniature deck, and a gaff card (regular size but the back has 4 miniature cards in a fan). If I remember correctly, the spectator picks a card and the magician goes through the routine (which is what I can't remember). The ending is what I remember and like. The cards are fanned on the table with the gaff on top, looking like a full fan of miniature cards. The magician then messes up the fan and they turn into regular sized cards except for their selection. I'm thinking it may be something by Bill Malone possibly. Anyone know of the routine and have the source or video clip of it? Thanks!

If you mean spread instead of fan it might be Mike Powers' Diminishing Returns. Here's a link with a demo video:
