Well with you being a writer I usually don't xpect you to so clumsily phrase things. This is indeed where all the confusion lies.

Well, Silva failed a second drug test so I guess it's pretty clear he did the drugs. So disappointed

If they really want to get rid of steroids they should stop the suspensions.
Just make it a lifetime ban for the first offense.
If you need fear to enforce your beliefs, then your beliefs are worthless.

Being honest, when I hear that a man of nearly forty, recovering from what should have been a career-ending leg break, has used a bit of medical aid to made such a brilliant recovery, it does not dent my admiration of the man even the slightest. Hat off to Silva.

Dude signed a contract. If there's a different contract in the future then that's another story.
I would like to see a master's division for the over 40 fighters though

True contracts are binding and if he didn't live up to it then there is no getting past it.

My guess is that Dana White has known all along. Probably why he always aggressively counter attacked when questioned about it. Pretty standard. |

The desire for the large prizes, on a supposedly ongoing basis, would be a strong incentive not to cheat. You implement a system where a rigorous blood test, say three samples taken a week or so before, or immediately after each fight, from both fighters, are tested by three independent labs. However Tony's point has validity, though it's much more complicated. I'm no expert on steroids, but if there is a type that promotes faster healing without the performance "benefits" then I don't see a reason to disallow them. Personally I think it's crazy to take a powerful and dangerous substance for any amount of money. Or glory.
