Has anyone checked out this new color change, available at Vanishing, Inc. Magic? The trailer looks impressive.

I have seen the workings on this, Its fantastic and interesting. Definitely takes plenty of practice. This was the first time I've seen it applied to a bill change though, that was interesting.

Reviews from vanishing inc. website
Customer reviews Peter Anderson I just downloaded and watched this. INCREDIBLE. I estimate I will be able to do it within the day. Chris Taylor I so, so prefer this to things like the Clip Shift, because here you can see more of the cards. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Neil Woodward So, so great. Well shot, well thought out. A REAL winner. REL is amazing. Get it! Ben Reed All I can say is, "Wow." Very well explained and I would love to see more from Mr. Brewer. Sam Lloyd I'm very pleased with this and just watched it. I think it's a practical change that, if you watch your angles, could have LOTS of applications. Shaun Rowe This is INCREDIBLY good. Saw Michael do this at a TAOM and it's amazing. I disagree with the advertisement: it says it is somewhat difficult. EASY! Once you get the hand positions it will start to work immediately. |

To be fair Torquay22 you left out two of them...
Yul Largado ** This move is for magicians. This isn't practical for real world crowd use; it is extremely angley. There are better color changes and easier ones. I'd prefer the Monet Change; it is more fair looking, more visual, more practical. It's a "new" sleight, but left feeling a little disappointed. Harry Rose ***** I disagree with a review above, that this move is only for magicians. It has angle restrictions, but so do lots of changes and moves. But I do magic semi-professionally and this is EXACTLY the kind of thing audiences scream over. Monet Change is a MINOR variation of an existing Walton move, and lacks the visual quality of this one. I love it! |

I downloaded this and after watching the tutorial I thought it didn't look too tricky, however I didn't get the chance to try it out straight away and when I did it turned out to be a bit more difficult than I imagined. It's certainly not a knuckle buster but it's going to need work (for me anyway). I personally think its a nice looking change and the it's well shot and well taught.

Just wanted to add some input...
I purchased this after reading this thread and watching the demo. I figured the price was reasonable enough and after watching the instructional video I am happy with what I paid for. As far as angles this is really a non-issue. Any intermediate card worker should be more than comfortable and familiar with the main sleight involved. I've been practicing this since about 3PM and I'm hitting it about 90% of the time, so this is well in reach of anybody willing to sit and work on it. Also, I enjoyed the extra ideas even though I've only been working on the main card change. But, I definitely plan on using the card to box application. All in all I give this a 9.5 out of 10. It's something very different and very do-able. Just get it! |

Hi mike I have just bought and watched this and wanted to say thanks for releasing this it's really good, I have not bought any colour changes in the past so it might take me a little while to get use to the grip but that is the same for any technique I suppose. Can I also say this has one of the best trailers I have seen like tko 2.0 trailer it's funny but shows you what you get

Yeah the grip is crucial, the thumb movement should be minimized as much as possible to keep the sleight hidden. If you keep working it will get the speed without the thumbs help.

I got this and I have to say the teaching is outstanding, every thing needed is taught in immaculate detail
makes a real difference from Double Exposure where almost none of the sleights needed are taught nice work |
