Sounds like a retention of vision type of vanish. Bobo's Modern Coin Magic book is a good place to start, as is Micheal Rubensteins dvd the Encyclopedia of Coin Sleghts. Lots of stuff there.

Hey Pascal,Happy New Year to you, Emmanuelle, Nicholas, and the rest of your family! Hope all is great. I think you are referring the the Hirata Hold. Ponta performs a vanish where the coin is placed there as well. Hope that helps!

Michael, I think you're refering to the Harada Hold Smile
It's a fantastic move, plenty of potential... I have a routine using it in my Moneypulation Vol.1 dvd, and more to come in Vol.2 Smile

There is a similar move to the Harada Hold, this move place the coin on the top of the wrist and is not hard to acomplish. I think is tought by Jay Sankey in one of his coins DVDs.

There's a basic to the wrist vanish in Bobo's , which may be what you're referring to. It's relatively easy, as opposed to Harada Hold, which is insanely hard!

The sleight is different from Bobo's, the move is the same as with the Harada Hold but the coin lands on top of the wrist.

THANKS all for your comments !!
This move is very clean to dissapear a coin with the fist toward the spectators .
YOU CAN OPEN BOTH HANDS and just after looking in "the air" make the coin appear in your right hand....
thanks

Tim Feher uses that Jimmy Buffaloe wrist sleight along with another move, I believe it is in his video "One Coin 2.0" to end the routine completely clean. Very effective!

Maybe a stupid question...Sorry!
The harada hold is to put the coin on the wrist with the hand palm up .
Is it the same "magic move name" if you put the coin on the wrist with the hand palm down?

thanks

If you have Metal: Introduction to High Impact Coin Magic by Eric Jones. He has a couple of false deposits in there that I really enjoyed!

The move is done with the hand in a sort of "karate chop" position.
The main feature of the Harada Hold is that you can grip the coin(s) in position, thus the name Hold...
Then, you can pivot the hand palm up and palm down, with certain angles restrictions.

Hope this help Smile
