Finally just got it! Im very happy with the gimmick. Though I don't have anything else like it I can compare it to, it seems very well made.

Now I just have to get comfortable with it and practice the basic move more to get it consistent and smooth. Instructions were a little brief but I guess there is not much else to show as it just needs practice. And a couple of more routine ideas thrown in would have been nice but that's what threads like this is for, I guess (and one's own creativity, of course)!

Also, I pretty much used the same kind of special something shown in the video to keep it quiet, but it still talks. Some other suggestions were made here to rectify this so I may give that a try too.

Overall, though, I really like it and can see myself having it in my pocket ready to go whenever.

Thanks again for the recommendation!

You can compare it with Jonny Wongs coins and especially for routine 1, with Digial Disolve (DD). DD can do all of this AND you can immediately hand out the two coins without a switch. N3 has it on the magical colour change and opportunity to add a decal for a three way change.

Those are awesome unfortunatly they only come in 1.5 inch and 3 inch so they cannot be used for half dollars. You would have to get the half dollar size chinese coin stickers direct from johnny wong. It's the only place I could find them

As stated (above), Joe Mogar has them (half dollar size) as well!

I just got this from Solari magic. Not much more to add other on this. It is well made and if you watched the video it works just as shown. I do not have the other coins being discussed so can't compare. I can say the service I received from Solari magic was top notch and it was shipped quick.

I just received this et. The coins are nicely made. I am having difficulty doing the basic move. I did not put any tape on it yet as described in the video. Would that help?>

I also find the change move difficult. I'm thinking I may have a backwards one, if you know what I mean. Coin seems to want to snap back into the hand. Any thoughts?

The tape just dampens the sound a bit but doesn't really affect the move much. Maybe slows it down just a bit with the friction but didn't really make much of a difference for me on that front.

Takes some practice (over a bed) but it's really a matter of getting the release down with the fingers if you know what I mean. Hope that isn't saying too much..trying to be vague.

Thank you for your response. I know what you mean. IT takes a bit of a knack to get the right finger pressure to do the move without dropping it on the floor so the bed or couch is a good place to learn.

Thank you.

Teflon tape makes all the difference as far as 'easing' the motion and slightly deadening the noise.

The move is very knacky... I've found that if you lean the coin back against your thumb as you do the move it helps.

Ekuth,

Thank you. So you recommend Teflon tape rather than regular tape as shown on the vid instructions?

Definitely. Tried both and the Teflon beats it all hollow. You'll need 2" wide.

I have a performance video here, if anyone wants to know what you can do with N3 and N4 coins combined. As I said in many other posts, there is a reason why I love these coins so much, and you will probably understand why when you see it. I have other effects, not shown in that video, but many of them would preferably need a spectator (a sick version of Digital Dissolve, where the coin changes color in spectator's hand, coin through bad, coin through bill, etc.) so the other effects will be shown in an upcoming video.

Too bad, I'm expressionless in the video...

Appreciate the video by mh1001! Beautiful use of the two sets combined. I have both sets and they are unique in gaffs. Takes a day to get a hang of the "flash pulling" of the "Digital Dissolve" type of gaff. Highly recommend this to any coin worker.
