Has anyone out there been to a workshop put on by the One Way Street Folks?

They seem to be a great group from their website.

In February they are having a regional one in Kansas very near my house.

The price seems very reasonable.

I didn't know that the One Way Street guys had a workshop! I'd love to go to one sometime.

One Way Street's puppets are the first ones that I've worked with. My church orders all of their puppets from them and I signed up for their summer puppet ministry. The puppets are really great and the people at One Way Street seem to know what they're doing!

I'd love to get more information on it! If anyone has attended, please share!

I have never been to a One Way Street workshop, but I have worked with puppeteers who have. They encouraged me to try and attend one. I've been trying, but no luck so far. Harris, if you do go, and see some puppeteers by the name of McConnaghey (I think that's how you spell it), please tell them the magic lady from Little Rock says hello. They are the sister, husband, and nephew of the wife of the former pastor of my church (the one I attend, not the one I work at!). The years they were at the church, they were brought in for Vacation Bible School. Now, if you got all that straight...please explain it to me!

I went to a puppetry weekend that they did here in my area and it was a fabulous time.

Liz and Dale came and were very gracious in sharing their knowledge.

I was the only vent, but I was still made welcome (not to mention winning a couple of performance awards which is always nice.)

I heartily recommend it.
