I'm really looking forward to Eric Mead's book on Tim Conover, although I'm not sure if it will be released this year or not. I may be writing this exact same post in January of 2015.

I am extremely excited about this book. But I definately don't think this will be out this year. My guess is 2015, earliest

Almost forgot about Richard Kaufman's project on Michael Skinner, which he wrote, will be out for the IBM/SAM convention in St. Louis in July.

This is my number one for 2014. Huge fan of Michael Skinner!

Didn't know about this. Very exciting

I would like to see the Tamariz translations and is Richard Kaufman still going to publish the Larry Jennings follow up to Jennings 67?

Bob Farmer's long-awaited book on the 10 Card Poker Deal, The Bammo Ten Card Poker Deal Dossier, is supposedly 95% finished!

2014 release? I'm hoping...

Geoff Latta's work by Hobbs and Swiss
Bammo Ten Card Poker Deal by Farmer
Tenyo by Kaufman

Eventually:
Tim Conover by Mead
Gibreath by Maven

Wow...that's a lot of investing, but should be diamonds one and all.
Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Thanks for the concerts + recordings, Lowell, Richie, and Paul!

The photography in the book is excellent. Some of the best I've seen in a long long time.

This is all good news, I'm glad this is coming out. My friend and wonderful magician, Rick Anderson told me he did some photos for this book, I have seen some of what Steve Mayhew performs and he such a great character. Speaking of Rick, I did a strolling gig with him for New Years, I wish this guy would write his own book. I'll be getting Mayhew's book for my bithrday present then.

I'm reviewing the Mayhew book for M.U.M. You're going to want to have it.

I am aware of some of the material in the Latta book, and if you're into cards or coins, you're going to want that, too.

I'm also aware of one side of the "arrangement" between Richard Kaufman and the person Michael Skinner was actually corresponding with. (It wasn't Richard) IF there is an actual agreement reached between the owner of the recordings and the guy who wants to sell them, THEN fans of Michael Skinner will want to hear these recordings. If not, then out of respect for Michael, who wouldn't want his friend exploited in this way, those fans might want to give this a pass.
