Sounds like got it from one of those pesky royalty-free music sources!

Hi Paulo,
Since this act is taken from Lance Burton's TV special produced by the late Gary Ouellet, and since Gary Ouellet was an entertainment music producer / composer aswell, I think that this music was composed by him. If this is the case Paulo, you can't purchase or find this music anywhere. Sorry to contradict your comment Arthur, but I don't think that this is from a royality-free music source. Gary Ouellet used to use this kind of music if the royalities of the original music for use, edit and synchronizing of an act were to expensive. If you watch the World's Greatest Magic series produced by Gary Ouellet you'll hear quite often such kind of music. I agree that this kind of music might sound pesky today, but in the 90' it was in...specially in Las Vegas TV productions... lol Oliver. |

Oliver, if it was possible to add a chuckle in my post, I would have. But unfortunately, my joke did not come across. You see, I was being facetious. Because royalty-free music for magicians is what I do! Check my website: http://www.arthurstead.com.
All the best, Arthur |

Gary's son actually wrote the copy cat music for most of the acts.

I'm so sorry Arthur that I didn't understood that you were joking. Really sorry. I know that you compose royalty free music, maybe that's the reason why I took your reply too serious, since I know you know all the business around music.
Thank you Ricard for the specification. I knew that his son was in the Ouellet family music business, but I ignored that is was him who wrote most of the music for the TV special acts. By the way, is his son Ryan if I recall correctly) still in the music business ? Thank you again. Oliver. |

Hey Oliver, no need to apologize, and no offense taken. As stated, I was just trying to be funny, because the music in that example sounded pretty cheesy. When I posted, I should have realized the limitations of email, where it's difficult to convey mood or attitude, or inner feelings.
Best regards, Arthur |

Camirand Academy of Magic still sells Music For Magicians. Check out their website. There is some costs to several packages of music.
