Mike, I hope all is well with your MRI. (Don’t you hate that monstrous machine! Tight, constricting, and LOUD banging the whole time. I hate it!)
I have never transferred the coin into another palm or grip after the French Pop, but I can see a benefit to JW Grip if you wanted to show your hand empty - in a different way than a Ramsay Subtlety - and immediately perform a move that must begin from the JW Grip. I don’t know if that is what Bill Monroe was thinking but I imagine it was something similar at least. I'm just thinking that you never know what another magi is planning when using certain sleights or grips. To each..., etc. Good luck! Jim |

Thanks Jim. Yes, those machines and loud and bangy and scary and you cant move. Would be cool if you could bring some coins along to play with, but noooo..
