What do you all use to store your magic items?

I am quickly running out of storage space... with magic tricks littered about the floor of my study. I am planning to purchase (yet another) chest of drawers to help keep things organized. Right now I am leaning towards ordering another one of these chest of drawers from Ikea. (The first one has worked out fairly well for the last 7 years.)

I figure shallow drawers are more suited to storing the majority of magic items. You don't necessarily want a deep drawer, where you would be stacking things on top of each other, because you can't see what is underneath. (The exception to that being a stack of identical items... like a bunch of decks of cards.)

Another option: those Sterilite plastic stackable drawers sold in various sizes. They have transparent walls so you can see into the drawer. (And you can normally find these at Walmart)
I was considering using these to store magic, except that:
A) I don't want people to be able to see all MY SECRET MAGIC stuff when they walk into my study. (transparent walls)
B) I figure a real chest of drawers looks a little nicer than a bunch of plastic tubs stacked against a wall.

I do have some of those Sterilite drawers in my garage and they work very well. In this case (when I don't care about privacy of the items being stored) I especially like that the front and sizes are transparent. You can immediately see what is stored inside of each without having to open. Plus being a closed drawer keeps the dust out.

Similar but one more vertical drawer so each shallower.

I have some of those plastic drawers. Not very fond of them. They don't operate smoothly, they can come apart, etc. The price is right, but I much prefer wood.

Since you already have a full-size chest of drawers have you considered getting a jewelry chest of drawers --- put the big stuff in what you have and transfer the little stuff to the jewelry chest.

Wow these are both excellent ideas. Thanks. I am especially interested in the other Ikea dresser you found that has 6 drawers instead of 5..... going to see if I can modify my order or if it's too late...

I have a number of cigar boxes that I use to organize my props/materials that I keep in my steamer trunk.
