Greetings Tony,
It's an honor to have you with us. I have always loved "dove" magic and have always been curious as to what would be the best way to get a good solid start. I do recall another member stating you had a video or DVD? I can't run down to the club and ask fellow magicians because there are none!! Small town. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Lee.
In December of '06 I was diagnosed with a very rare cancer, Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans. One in a million people worldwide are diagnosed with this type of cancer annually. Sarcomas account for 1% of all cancers. Knowledge is power!

As you know I have three dove tapes that I turned into a Dove Trilogy set. As a matter of fact they are being converted to DVDs and should be ready any day now. I think these tapes should help you not because there mine, but because they have over 25 years of experience in them. They will save you from reinventing the "wheel" so to speak. They cover everything from caring for a bird to training it to come back to you and lots more. Also I like the encyclopedia of dove magic. It has some great ideas in it. I have always done some manipulation acts and recently got hold of one of Tony's tapes and the information in there is priceless. Once you start watching the stuff you can see what he means by 25 years of experience.
It is awesome. |

Funnily enough when we were having a glut of "best of magic" shows, the consensus was that dove magic was the most amazing and the most beautiful.
I guess that because so much effort has to go into performing/looking after birds it repays with audience attention and appreciation. a wonderful art

I agree. My dove act is the foundation of all the success I had to date. People definately appreciate the work.

Dear Tony,
Although I have been performing magic-comedy on stage for many many years, when I finally decided to "try doves",about 5 years ago,I purchased several of your videos and have since benefitted enourmously from these tapes. When I first ordered several of your dove-related materials you patiently took my order over the phone and offered your ideas and further encouragement. Your Secrets of Winning audio tape/kit was another tremendous tool and I would highly recommend it to those wishing to gain confidence in their presentational skills and for those that wish to work at, and ultimately attain, their performance goals. Your Paper Balls Over the Head video helped me to integrate this routine into my own show --something I had thought of doing for years, but had never felt ready to do. I was able to adapt the routine to my own persona and now enjoy the audience's (and the volunteer's) keen involvement and response to this highly interactive and highly amusing effect. As I hear my (two) doves cooing contently,in the background, I would like to express many thanks to you for communicating both your work and your attitudes in a most encouraging and effective way. All the best for the new year! Sincerely, Jonathan Levey max@maxmagician.com http://www.maxmagician.com
