George1953 you need to increase your pledge by £50. At the end we will send you a survey were you tell us what the additional amount is for. Please let me know if you have any more issues. It would be easier to send me a message via the campaign if you have any more queries as you will get a faster response.

That's how all Kickstarters work for add-ons like the case. Otherwise they'd have to create pledges for:
1 deck
1 deck and a t-shirt
1 deck and reader book
1 deck and magician book
1 deck and both books
1 deck and reader book and a t-shirt
1 deck and magician book and a t-shirt
1 deck, both books and a t-shirt
1 deck and 1 case
1 deck and 1 case and magician book
1 deck and 1 case and reader book
1 deck and 1 case and both books
2 decks
2 decks and reader book
2 decks and magician book
2 decks and both books
2 decks and 1 case and magician book
2 decks and 1 case and reader book
2 decks and 1 case and both books
2 decks and reader book and a t-shirt
2 decks and magician book and a t-shirt
2 decks, both books and a t-shirt
3 decks
3 decks and reader book
3 decks and magician book
3 decks and both books
3 decks and 1 case and magician book
3 decks and 1 case and reader book
3 decks and 1 case and both books
3 decks and reader book and a t-shirt
3 decks and magician book and a t-shirt
3 decks, both books and a t-shirt
and so on...
The page would be about three miles long.

That is so true MatCult. It is impossible to have a pledge for every single variation. So the way it works is, you choose a pledge then increase your amount manually for whatever add-on you would like.

The book comprises of a series of graduated exercises and games that will not only allow you to truly master the deck but will develop your intuition and make you a highly competent and genuine reader. There are no ‘tricks’ - this is all for real gentlemen.

Nice cards and all, but if "this is all for real", I believe the James Randi Educational Foundation has $1,000,000 waiting for you.

Seeing that the Kadri have sent the exotically named Mr Inigmntoya, it seems right that I should talk a little about the readers path.
Many here will know and use a range of techniques that are 'real', some of these will be known and used by Mr Randi and will not disturb his tiny paradigm. Some would admittedly put a few curls in his beard.

As mentioned, there are two paths being offered with the Kadar Kards - the Magicians Path and the Readers path. For each path, there are two books; a simple introduction to the system, and a comprehensive, in depth look for the advanced Kadar student.

I will talk of the Magician's path later. However, I think many here will particularly value the ideas presented on the Readers Path. In this book, there are no tricks, no double lifts, and no subterfuge. It is presented as a straight system; where one human being empathetically connects with another. As such it is far more fascinating and meaningful than any cards trick that you can show me.

Using the cards in this context you will *genuinely* develop your ability to read the character and circumstances of another person, and indeed you can turn the lens on yourself. The system will develop your empathy and instinct through a series of structured exercises and playful games. My aim is that at the end of the introduction book you will be able to play and experiment with the system, and by the end of the advanced book you will be an accomplished reader with a confident and enhanced intuition.

Those of you who have and use the Kadar Elite or Pro will know that it works - and if you are skilled; works 100% of the time. They will also know that it uses no tricks or trapdoors to achieve its results. The same system is embedded in the Kadar Cards. Indeed you can not only give traditional Kadar readings - but you can expand upon them, as the population of Kadri has boomed from 4 (or is that five?) to 12 (or is that 13, or 14?). But now we have 52 fortune telling cabinets to play with! Those of you with Kadar will understand the potential of this. You can read with just four aces or four chosen court cards, the court cards and the aces, just the pip cards, a single card Zoltar reading or a number of experiments using the whole deck, there are a baffling amount of angles to take and experiments to try out.

For me, this is something of an interesting exercise; writing a system that has no magic deception in it, but from a magicians perspective. Being baptised in card magic, 'mentalism' and various forms of spectator manipulation, I think that there is something genuinely new that I can bring to the 'metaphysical table'. So I am playing it dead straight in this book, but the lessons learnt in magic inform it somewhat.

So why bother magicians with this stuff, they will have their own book? Well some magicians will not come near this book, as it is not for them. However, many here on this forum are already undertaking this journey and discovering their own paths. Many will understand the value of a broader study than the standard (and worthy) library of traditional performance magic. Many will have already experienced how a comprehensive study outside of magical deception informs and extends the performer and takes him or her into new, fascinating and uncharted seas. Such a magician will leave the other on the shore, playing with their billets and card flourishes.

I do not intend that last line to sound as arrogant as it did, as there is room for all manner of magicians, and even the most terrifying of them contribute to make the world a more entertaining place. However, I think that there is a new direction in magic being birthed and it is fellow travellers on this road who will get the most from the more curious of the two routes offered by the Kadar Kards.

So the Readers’ path is not aimed at Magician’s, but I hope that they will gain a great deal from the journey and use this to deepen what they gain from the Magician’s path.

It is one hell of an undertaking designing 54 cards and writing four books, the last of which will probably be written in some squalid padded cell.
So it is great that you guys here are really pushing and getting the word out.

So get your pennies out ready to put into the slot (yes, I did say ‘pennies’).
The secret cogs are starting to turn and a shadowy from beckons from the opening curtains.

I keep switching between the two paths. I kind of prefer the reader's path but my only concern is if I choose that path, will I miss out on learning the m@rking system?

Being on both paths (readings more than magic, but I still enjoy both), I am going to want to get my grubby hands on both books. Can't wait for this project to materialize. Smile
