HI guys. I've finially taken the time to put a few more of these together.
If anyone is interested I'm going to offer the next three of these pads to any Café member for only $25 if paid via PayPal and I'll include free PRIORITY Mail. The only caveat, since I posted in this forum, is that I want your review posted here. I am confident that what you receive, even for the retail price, you will be very pleased. This principle has been totally overlooked in mentalism and definatly hasn't been "packaged" to look as something as real-world as this. If you are interested please take a look at it on my site under "KILLER APPS PAD." Take care, and I hope everyone has recovered from New Years..... Bryn

Hey Bryn,
Your site appears to be down at the moment. I'm sure you know that, but I thought I'd let you know in case. David |

HI David. Thanks, but it appears to be working fine. When was it down? I was playing around on there this morning and it was woking as well. hmmmm....well, I guess if it WAS down I can complain too much since its a free site!
And to those requesting a review: I am kinda dissapointed that the few that took me up on the intro. price in agreeance that they would write a review, good or bad, would not take the time to write one on here. ESPECIALLY since I received favorable private emails saying the item was received fine and that it was great, and they would write a review, yadda yadda. I can only hope that their failure to write a review is their attempt to keep this a secret..hehe. Oh well, I will never badger someone to write a review but I will think twice in the future to offer an intro. price in exchange for a review. Regardless, I have been having great luck selling these at the regular price of $37.50, postage-paid and no one has taken me up on my $-back guarantee offer yet. Since I have about $15 in materials and some time in each I feel this a great deal, especially for what you get. And knowing this business, if I charged $100 ea. I probabally wouldn't be able to keep up with the orders!..LOL Take care... Bryn

Hi Bryn, perhaps you should take an indifferent stand, take it or leave it. This just show how many cheapskates are there around. These people want everything for free, and if possible, they want your blood. You are too merciful.
I was surprised that you say that your material cost is $15 and you are giving it away at an offer price of $25. I have seen this pad of yours in ebay selling for more than $35 and if I don't remember wrong, once I saw the price skyrocked way above the original selling price. Sometimes we need to be ruthless in magic. My regards, Neil |

Hi Bryn, how about putting words in another way. Introductory price at $25 for a limited period only. After then the price will goes triple.
My usage and experience of A.P.P.S Pad If almost any prediction is possible, then how about a headline prediction? So I decided to try it out first by mailing the pad in an envelope to the manager of a restaurant where I frequently performed at. In that actual performance, I requested for the mailed packet followed by asking one of the staff for that day newspaper. While the attention is fully on that staff looking for the newspaper, I have a great deal of time to write my prediction down. When the newspaper is brought forth, I asked her to read to the rest of what the headline news was about. It says "Singapore's Temasek buys 5% of Telekom Malaysia". I signal the manager to come forth. At this point I hand the entire envelope to him to open it up, within it wasa bi-fold card(greeting card), and clasp within it was a pad(can't tell you what it actually look and feel like). On it was written "5% Telekom". Of course, protest came in saying that it wasn't complete. Well, my response was that the words "5% Telekom" came to me in a quick flash during a meditation session of mine. Period. Common method of headline prediction involves a switch or load, and some byplay. This pad allows you to do a last minute writing together with some misdirection. Very simplistic in handling. The method is pretty genius indeed. But due to the surface area limitation of the gimmick pad and the gimmick that is used to write the message, I can't write too many words, else they will be illegible. That is the only gripes. But heck! The pad can still be passed around for examination by those who are visionary impaired. Another performance was at a home gathering in a friend house. This envelope was once again whipped out. I laid it on top of the TV set. It was while in the midst of a friendly chatting I asked four persons among the group to each give me a three digit numbers(i.e. 359), and another person write them down on a piece of paper, do a big scrambling on the numbers and finally total it up. While the totalling is going on, I ask one of them to reach for the envelop and pass it to me. Once the total is derived, the numbers are then read out. No sweat for me to write it down, I simply delay the person during reading by saying, "what? Say again." So that I can catch up in writing without rushing. Hey, I am in control And I will even say, "Repeat the number please." If I still need more time, I will start to tell mother story. Cool, no sweat. I simply pass the envelope to any volunteer to open it up. Of course, I am right and all of them are puzzled. In fact, two methods of handling and showing the revelation are put forth by Bryn. Those two performances that I did uses only one way of handling, which is also slightly harder than the other method. You can use it to reveal a person car license plate numbers, date of birth of a person or simple drawings. This is extremely useful for last minute writing of a short word or numbers, but not for longer sentences. Practice is definitely needed though. Truely, no stooges, no carbon, no psychological force. Quite straightforward and relatively ease of use. I call this the A.P.P.S kit rather than A.P.P.S pad because, I am truly amazed with the effort of the maker and creator of this kit. It is really a whole lot of utilities. It is clearly that Bryn is all out to help and bless those who buy it rather than making money out of it. My big thanks to you Bryn. |

Only one review since offered Jan 2, 2004. This is March and it does not seem to interest to many people.
Either not an interesting item or no one has purchased it then meaning no interest in it.

Thanks Neil for writing the review....I am glad you enjoy and see that is working for you in "real" performance situations, as well. And, some nice ideas on the other included props.
The current price is $47.50 and that is reflecting what he refers to as it being a "kit": I am not including yet another method of making the writing appear which gives the PAD more versatility and have adjusted the price accordingly to mirrior my increased costs and time. I feel it is well worth it. And Magicbyswh, I would like to think just the opposite of your comments are true: I have actually been selling many of these and have gotten some great private feedback. Unfortunately, not all are Café members. What I mentioned earlier was my being miffed at those that took me up on the intro. price and EMAILED me some great comments, yet still didn't take the time to post a review here. I think Braveneil put everything about as honestly as can be said. It really does play like the ad reads. And, as always, there is the $-back guarantee on everything I sell. This is one that with time and costs considered I wish I was charging a $100 for and only selling a few...lol. Some items, like PYREXIA, take me an evening sitting at the TV and I can make up a dozen or so sets; with Killer APPS I can take an evening, and with no interuptions, can perhaps make up two. Bryn
