Okay, here is my dilema: I will be attending the IBM convention in San Diego in July. At the beginning of the year, I was all set to compete in the stage competition. Now, I haven't had a chance to actually re-routine the act I did last year. I've got something that I have been doing that can easily be adapted for a competition setting. Now, should I go ahead and compete? Or should I just not compete and enjoy the convention? I know the stage competition is usually set for the first full day, and I will be there in time for the mandatory contestants meeting. So, what would you do?

The only stupid question is the one not asked.

Hey, I say give it a go. My close-up routine isn't all that I want it to be, but I still plan to get in there and participate. I admit I'm a little distracted by my idea for NEXT year's routine though! But I gotta focus on this year... See you in San Diego! JMT |
