Peter Kane's "Cash Galore!"
-----quote----- Effect (as described in the instructions): The performer shows four Cash Cards to be blank and explains that these cards are issued to him by his personal Magicians Bank. Instead of having to visit the bank, he simply counts the Cash Cards and a treasury note appears... this is repeated three more times and on the fifth attempt to produce a note, the advice OVERDRAWN in large red letters appears on one of the previously blank flash cards. -----end quote---- Of course, you provide your own bills! The blank Cash Cards are thin white plastic cards slightly larger than a US dollar bill. As each bill appears, the magician pulls the bill off the "Cash Cards" and sticks them to his body. Each bill that appears increases in denomination. Example: First a $5.00 bill appears. Then a $10.00 bill. Then a $20.00 bill. Then a $50.00 bill. The sight of the bills sticking to the magician's shirt or coat is a great photo op! The routine depends on multiple Elmsley Counts. I slipped in an Olram Subtlety count at one point that made the trick even more deceptive. Larry Nudelman had some very visual magic with dollar bills that you might look into. He had a set of lecture notes to show how to make up the tricks. There was also a trick by I think Fred Kaps where four rectangular pieces of newspaper visibly changed to four paper dollar bills. That trick was also written up in one of Bill Severn's books called _Magic Money_, which contains tricks with both paper bills and coins. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

Of course, John Kennedy's Floating Bill is pretty hard to beat, too:
http://www.johnkennedymagic.com/scripts/......oduct=52 I remember seeing John perform this at a Raleigh Festival of Magic back around 1970 when I believe he first came out with it. He performed it several times under every imaginable condition and amazed everyone! Judging from the description on the website, John has improved the trick considerably from when he first released it. ----- Sonny

Cash Galore by Peter Kane and manufactured by Emerson and West is a Great trick, I have 2 of them. So many ways to present it, so under rated. I bought my 1st one direct from Peter Kane in England.
I think it would be great if it was made in Jumbo Plastic sheets and Dollar Bills for stand up presentation. |
