Also, I'm fairly certain this is the one taught in his lecture, yes?

While the there is a very brute force version taught in the my lectures and this method is also included as a bonus on the DVD…the main method along side many techniques may be done by passing the deck around the room without the performer having to come into contact with it until the cards are boxed after three or more selections are made.
Of course, there's even more on the DVD than just those two ideas. It's jammed pack full of information, techniques, and secrets that you will fry even the most knowledgeable performers with. |

Wow... this almost looks too good to be true.
I'll see how long I can resist the urge to place an order. (Can you *really* give the deck away like that at the end? This boggles my mind...) |

Very, very interesting!
Forcing myself to wait for a review before ordering...

I hope it is as good as it claims.
I cant understand when in the Demo, Patrick asked his spectator "would you like to shuffle the cards your self or are you happy with my shuffling" the spectator say's I'm happy with your shuffle. Now I'm not suggesting that patrick's trying to hide something or being misleading, but I would of thought it would of made the video demo even stonger as a selling point of view if patrick would of said "and you go a head and shuffle the deck as well" even though he gave him the choice I know. No offence intended to Patrick it's just my opinion. Graham

I'm guessing the cards cannot be shuffled.

I think I figured out what this is myself after seeing the demo a few days ago. I tested my theory twice and it worked well twice - just as clean.
What you get here I think is a new spin on an older concept. The routines etc. Don't own this but like I said I was stumped initially but then I recalled that Patrick showed this at mindvention.

As we just see the one selection, can anyone say how the process is for more than one? Similar selection and bury? Or a quicker version per participant?

"Si" would be proud of this...and shades of the old "X-Ray Deck" too?

Here's how the process looks with three people:
The deck is given to someone they can shuffle (yes really*). They are asked to cut the deck anywhere, look at the top card and then pass the deck behind them to someone else. This person does the same thing and then buries the card into the center, boxes the cards and the deck is then tossed to the other side of the room for some variety. This last person does exactly what Keith does in the demo. IF you'd like you can also have this person fan the cards towards him or herself, cut any card to the face and make the selection this way. The cards are boxed, tossed back to the performer who may now name all three cards. Hope this clears that up for you! *there are multiple techniques taught on the DVD some using a stack and some not. In ALL cases the deck may be shuffled before any cards are thought of. |

Not sure if it'd make a tangible difference in impact, but you could incorporate this with Darwin Ortiz's Zen Master and giveaway the deck at the end.

And you *do* give away the deck at the end?
