I would like a review of Willi's Ring and Rope routine that is being sold at Denny and Lee's., I hear it is a killer effect,and does it use a gimmick?

No. Just a ring (5 inches), a rope and a scissors (optional).

I bought the routine. The video is excellent and unlike other videos where the things are shown primarily from the front, the performer gives you many over the shoulder shots so you can coordinate your hands with those on screen.

I use about 2/3 of the routine within my own routine, the other parts came from Ringing Arround Two by Aldo Colombini and the opening from a source I can not remember but have used for years.

Originally I thought it was in Tarbell but I could not find it when I was looking for correct references.

In any case, I don't think you would be disappointed with the Wessel routine.
