In the dvd The World's Greatest Magic Cards Across series, L&L I think, Michael Ammar uses envelopes to do a cards across routine which is very convincing. Juan Tamariz also has a super-clean cards across that you might like.

Scott Alexander's "Super Fly" along with Tom Ogdens version of Cards Across; allows the performer to focus upon the "ride", rather than the mechanics.
Michael Close has some funny bits of business that can easily be adapted into any version.

Could also consider a large card version such as "King's Crossing". No real slieght of hand and no palming.

Café' member Paul Hallas wrote (and sells) a book called "Across the Void" that is full of the Cards Across tricks. Many (most) don't involve any palming. Some are great for platform work. It is a highly recommended book (as are all Paul's books).

Las Vegas Leaper - P.Harris. I believe Blaine performed it recently on his Real or Magic Special. Very easy just put a good presentation to it and its a great comedic, audience involved act.
