Richard's bouquet production in a collapsed empty top hat is also excellent and can be done anytime during an act.

Baffling Bill's opening flower sequence (double barehanded "whip" production, triple floral, blooming bouquet, botania) is one of the most beautiful and is truly baffling! The barehanded production technique he uses isn't his own, though he has mastered it to a level beyond others. We've moved and my library is currently boxed up so I can't get the proper citation. I believe it is in both the Tarbell course and David Ginn's anthology on feather flowers.

Jeff McBride's variation of Pat Page's production is very elegant. Instead of using a fast clap, it uses a smooth circling motion of the hand.

Flower productions are very popular in Asia right now with many magicians using them on TV shows. In particular, there have been some innovations in the production of large bouquets with many blooms. I will see if I can find some video.

I would love to see any video. As you know, I'm a big advocate of flower magic (when it's made and performed right , no garish "feather dusters" !)

This isn't the best example but illustrates one of the newer methods, an inverted hand technique for flash productions. It looks great with larger bouquets and some minor misdirection such as flash paper.
