The video is great. I like it even more than the first one.

One recent trick of Fiedler's I would like to see again, is the one where a selected bead bracelet penetrates a glow-stick.

I saw him do it at a lecture in London (a couple of years ago) - and he did it more recently at The Magic Caste as well. Would love to see it again. Seems like a very weird method is buried away in there.

I really enjoyed the GENII cover story on Lubor. The details of his mental health issues over the past decade were very interessting. It explains why Tenyo didn't release any tricks from Lubor for a few years. We all remember how frustrating those years were.

Anyway - I am delighted to see how well he is doing these days. When I met him in person he seemed like the kindest and most postitive grandfather you could ever imagine meeting.

Mark Setteducati mentioned in the article that Fiedler's work in recent years has hit new creative heights (and I agree). And he wonders if his mental health problems may have given his phenomenal creativity an extra jolt? A really interesting question, that one.

Mark Setteducati made a good point in the article. He says most magicians are designers. They take established principles and combine them to create a new trick. And - occasionally, with a bit of luck, they will accidentally discover a new principle.

But Lubor Fiedler is a true inventor. He can invent new principles (he has discovered 70+) at will, and create brand new tricks totally unlike anything else in magic.

It is hard to put into words how creative he is. I think magic is incredibly lucky that he decided to devote his life to it. Since - with his creative talents - he seems to be the sort of person who could have spent his life in science winning Nobel prizes.

I am so pleased that our little field got to benefit from such a giant mind.

Yes that box is cool. My guess is that it is just a prototype at this point... But would love to have one as well

Agreed Bob.... Lubor has a unique way of looking at things and thinking how it can be adapted to magic.... He clearly thinks magic 24/7.

I recently saw a cool desk lamp on a auction site that was clear and apparently had no wire connection to the bulb. The box reminded me of that... It went for $800+.

The Card & Lock is interesting as is the Supernatural Card and the Jack that loses it's color. I'd like to see Tenyo do something with those (or perhaps the FBI hat that he wears)

I was a big fan of this show.
They always showed different experiments (physical & chemical)
and explained it after the performance.
I remember that I saw this performance from Lubor when I was a kid
(which has to be about 25 - 30 years ago) and was deeply
impressed by the 'invisible card in water bowl" and deeply
disappointed, that they didn't explain any of his tricks.....
