I just saw this item pop up on Hocus Pocus website, but it appears to be in a few others as well (Penguin, etc.)

Has anyone gotten this yet? How does it feel? Will it fit in a RNT2 Don Alan cup?

The RnT II Don Alan Chop cup will take a baseball. This lemon appears to be somewhat smaller than a baseball, so it should fit. However, it is made of PVC. Unless it is coated with something flexible, it will very likely have a hard surface.

Why not use a real lemon? Just be sure to replace it before it goes bad. A real lemon will cost you less than a buck. And it will be soft.

Have you considered visiting the Hocus Pocus web site and doing a search for "fake lemon"?

It took me about 10 seconds to find it using this rather arcane method.

Thanks Bill. So the load might talk...I wasn't sure what PVC would be like.

Jeff,

The add copy says: "Perform the vanishing lemon place it into a paper bag and crushing it." Presumably it is hollow and possibly difficult to hold in a solid looking shape..? I cannot say as I have not seen this particular one, however I had a twister latex lemon with an idea for a cup and ball idea. It is currently land fill. It looked nothing like a lemon and wouldn't hold it's shape.

No Bill, actually I hadn't thought of that. I'm using my time online to work up to enough additional posts so I can have 23939 as well. Just kidding! It just helps when a poster includes a link so that you can just click on it and look.

Now that I've looked at the Quique Marduk item, why would I want to pay $10 for one when I could get 10 for $14+ S&H? Check it out: http://www.amazon.com/Boxed-Fruit-Set-10......ke+lemon

There is a wide variety of fake lemons on the market. Don't assume that a fake lemon from an unknown ebay supplier will be the same as one from a magic prop builder.

And don't think that you have to pay $10 for something that the person who repackaged it as a magic prop paid much less for. I can cite countless examples where this has been done.
