Whenever I use the push-off double (all the time currently) I always make sure my singles and triples look the same > no discrepancies the audience can pick up on.
I disagree with anyone who says the push-off double looks NATURAl. I find it to be FLOURISH-Y, GRACEFUL, and mainly CONVINCING.

I also am trying to add a sublety where I flick the side to make to add a small convincer that it's a single. A little hard to describe properly for me.

I watched Derren Brown's performance with cards a few days ago, and I noticed a really really nice way that he does the double lift.
No breaks, just a natural looking lift.

Not sure what the DVD was called, but it's his tutorial for the Derren Brown's 3 card routine. worth taking a look.
