This is an old one, I've been working on this one for a few years, well, I thought about it in 2012 and I worked on it to get this result.

T.R.C. stands for Torn Restored and Changed

It's a TnR routine, where 2 cards are selected. First one is put back into the deck and the second one is torn in 4 pieces. You begin to restore each piece at the time, you can show it's still card n°2 but with a snap, and the restoration of the last piece, the card change into the first card.

Here is a RAW footage, excuse me for the quality and my eyes watching at whatI was doing on the screen, I just wanted to show you, in essence, what does the trick look like

Hey Alex, like the last the last part where the card changes, but the restoration portion you seem to go out of camera view a lot? Seems interesting.

Yes, in fact, you tear the card right in front of them keep one piece and put the 3 others in your pocket. Then come back with the second piece and you're set up for the whole restoration sequence
