Hey guys, I was looking to add a mentalism effect into my act. I was looking for something involving ESP cards. So far, Rhine's Revenge seems to have the most straight forward presentation. Does anybody else know of this effect? What do you guys suggest in regards to ESP effects or overall mentalism?

Among the ESP card effects included in my OICU 1/2 ESP found in The Wizards' Journal #26, are several effects that can be performed with ungaffed ESP cards: Ted Annemann's Yggdrasil, J.G. Thompson's Moonlight Madness, Jim Gerrish's Color Contraption, and Professor Spellbinder's Match Me If You Can. Spellbinder's "Match Me If You Can" is on the demonstration video at 05:45 and resembles the effect of Rhine's Revenge" but there are no gaffed cards or gimmicks used.

This comes highly recommended. I had fun reading and performing some of these routines.

Looch's wake up Dr Rhine is very powerfull. Using a pendulum with ESP cards can also be very powerfull. As for Rhines revenge, I love it. It's a stunner when presented properly and is fun to do. I perform this along with a prediction effect and is a nice two phase routine. Also, getting them to select a symbol (without you knowing what it is of course ) then go into a short palm reading while revealing their thought of symbol. This is something that when done correctly, you create such an emotional connection, they will never forget it.

Rhine's Revenge ...
how does this routine play out, if only 2 cards match on the first 3 lay downs? |

Are restaurant customers familiar with Rhine cards?
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.
