Recently released book not only for magicians but for clowns, D.J's, balloon artists and more. Filled with great information from Magic Mike Stilwell a professional performing magician with over 40 years of entertainment experience.
You get insight and tips on everything from getting booked, to show prep, keeping jobs, equipment storage, interacting with other entertainers and on and on.
Real-world info, advice and tips from someone who's been doing it most of his life.
Little stories mixed in of situations and things that happened to him, some funny, some you'll be glad you read so you don't make the same mistake.
It's one of those books you wish you had when you were starting out; but its not limited to just beginners. Something for everyone including seasoned pros.
Got mine on Amazon for about $12 and change with fast shipping.
Great book, good info and affordable priced for what you get.
Check it out, especially if you are thinking about performing for pay or are seeking just general info like how to write up the contract or proposal and best way to price for your entertainment.

I bought this one on the above recommendation. It's a very thorough run through of advice, knowledge, tips, requirements, and all those things you need to know to navigate the professional world, stuff that takes people years to learn. The book steers you away from mistakes and sets you up to have a good knowledge and accurate expectation of agents, clients, business practices, etc. etc. etc.

$12.00 ??? Seriously? Get one for yourself and one for that newbie you're taking under your wing. It's a very good book and it's value is in the time, effort and trouble it saves you.

Well done, Mike.
