I often go to the fringe and this year I want to busk but I looked on their website and I can't find the contact information about busking that I found last year.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just found it for you Rob:

Each year at the Fringe, the Royal Mile is awash with colour as thousands flood the High St. everyday. Fringe acts, street performers and every type of busker, artist and performer entertain the festival hungry crowds.

If you would like to be part of the Royal Mile scene as a busker, street performer or hairbraider then please download the attached form. You can then return the relevant section to Cathy Dick, High St Co-ordinator, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 180 High St, Edinburgh, EH1 1QS or email

Good luck with it,

My wife performed there as a dancer two years ago. Busking was the most fun part of the festival. There is more going on than anyone can ever hope of seeing.

Every stage act is vying for your attention, hoping that you come see their show.

It sounds like great fun! If you get registered to go, let us know. We'd love to hear more.

Mmmmmmm...Edinburugh Festival...

I live in Melbourne, Australia, and we have the second best and largest comedy festival in the world here in April each year. My festival buddy and I wanna get to Edinburugh during the festival in the next couple of years. Apparently it's phenomenal!! Good luck with the busking plan.
