Chaps, have been playing with Divide and Conquer by Simon Aronson recently. Since my Faro technique is presently slightly more miss than hit (!) I have been looking at other ways of surretitiously getting prepared for this effect. Have invented a little ruse that seems to work quite well (IMHO at least!) and it means that the spectator can shuffle the deck first. It may already be out there but is original in my book.....I should mention that it uses the shortened dealing version as outlined once by somebody here on the Café so the starting positions are not quite as per the original effect (this allows the dealing to be speeded up by dealing, initially in fours and then twos....).
PM me if you want to take a shufti.......
Have you tried 'Up The Ante' yet?? The ultimate gambling demo....a self-working wonder! See the reviews here on the cafe.
