Hey Ventriloquist Friends!
I am looking for some help in the basics of joke writing for puppets I do more magic than puppets. But I have some pretty cool folkmanis animals. Soon I am scheduled to speak at a local church Sunday School. I have a few jokes with my 'pig' puppet... but I have a question / need advice What would you say are the KEY ingredients for writing jokes and structuring a routine? What do I want to keep in mind? I can give you an example of one of my jokes... (and by the way... I use a "squeaker" so I don't have to actually be a vent for this routine) Me: So do you like sports? You do? Which? Football? You have a brother who plays in NFL ? what position? The Football!! (I squeak back his answers) What are the key ingredients of a good joke? Thanks so much for your advice and help!! Tom Mason |
