After a long and crazy 13 months & 3 different rehabs (thank God for each of them), I am very happy to say that my son Michael is home and sober. He has been out of rehab for almost a month now and is working full time at his former job, that they kept open for him. He got a Christmas card last year from the President of the company letting him know that they would bring him back, and they did. He is doing great and I am so thankful. Thanks to all of you who said a prayer and sent good thoughts towards him. I feel like we are all emerging from a tunnel of darkness, I couldn't hardly stand the thought of losing my son this way. Thank God he has a second chance.

I hope he continues to be great.

Every day is a new challenge for him I'm sure.

BEST wishes.

you should "name and shame" - or rather praise the company who were very good to help by keeping his job open for him - a lot ofplaces would not!

Agreed. Please name the company, maybe some here can help by using their services. In a way, helping your son. Smile

The company that he works for and that I have been employed at, for over 30 years, is an aerospace manufacturing company called Rocker Industries. And there are some good folks that have been there as long or longer than myself. Believe it or not in all the years I've been there, I'm still working for the same boss that hired me in 1981!

Thanks again,
