What a way to celebrate my 1000th post to this wonderful forum...
After a long journey, the iOS7 version of my app is now ready to download. Special launch price too! "The best magic trick app that I've seen; beautifully thought through." - Derren Brown "This is such a strong and effective use of magic on the iPhone. Finally!" - David Blaine "Magic SMS is the coolest effect I've seen in years! Trust me you'll be texting everyone about this. Amazing!" - Dynamo "Magic SMS represents a real leap forward in the development of iPhone magic. If you have an iPhone and like magic, you should buy it." - MAGIC Magazine Review * As performed live on London's LBC Radio and one of LBC Radio's Best Apps of the Year. * The Effect: You tell your friend that you know someone who is psychic and that you want to put him to the test. You ask your friend to freely think of any colour and any playing card. Nothing is spoken or written down. You send a text message to your psychic asking him to guess what your friend is thinking of. You then turn off your phone and put it aside. From this point on you NEVER touch the phone AGAIN. You both patiently wait for the text message to arrive. Moments later, an SMS does arrive. The preview message in the Lock Screen shows that it is indeed from the psychic. Now that the message has arrived you ask your friend to confirm what they had thought of. You ask your friend to pick up the phone (as you don’t want to touch it) and to read the full reply. They will be utterly amazed to see that the psychic has correctly guessed both the freely thought of colour and playing card. Easy to do but very POWERFUL in effect! The FIRST EVER magic app to use this UNIQUE principle. No voice activation, G-Sensor use, icon swiping or suspicious turning over of the phone. No masking or hiding of the screen. Everything is done openly and fairly. You NEVER touch the phone, once the text has been sent. Once you know what colour and card your friend has thought of you STILL never touch the phone. SMS reply can be customised to say whatever you want. 11 routines plus new improvements from the original Magic SMS app. A truly free choice of ANY colour and ANY playing card. A staggering 530 possible combinations. ** SUPPORTED LANGUAGES: English, French, Italian and Spanish. Forthcoming updates will include German, Dutch, Swedish and Russian.** Download app here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/magic-sm......s=1&mt=8 Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/734692059898824/

Tested already on my iPad. Yep! Definitely not working on iPad. iPad stuck in the middle of the routine. I mean even though the app upgraded so the screen fit for iPad. Unless the creator use a different method for the iPad to finish the routine.

I believe it should work with the iPad. Have you upgraded to iOS7? If not it won't work.

I don't own an iPad but I know its designed for the iphone and latest ipod. Have no idea how iPads scale iphone apps and how they look.

I have been told all phone apps are compatible with the iPad because they can be run/scaled on ipads.

Well, if you bought the app and you have an iPad. Try using the app on the iPad. You'll see what I mean. And you'll also know why I can't really explain about it here. |

All iPhone apps are compatible with the iPad because they will install and run on an iPad scaled up. It doesn't necessarily mean they are designed for an iPad. Magic SMS 2 is not optimised for the iPad. It will install on the iPad that's why it says iPad compatible. The only way to know when you purchase any iPhone app is to see if there is a small plus sign in the price box of the app when you install it. A + means 'designed' for both iPhone and iPad. No + means iPhone only. This is Apple's rules to say all apps are compatible with the iPad.

Btw, anyone who joins the facebook group (link in OP) will get a free trick to recreate the Magic SMS effect with any regular phone. It's quite clever if I do say so myself.

Guys, turns out that this app have one more way to go on with the routine even without using the hardware I mention above. So the lack of hardware is not an issue for iPad. I missed the lines in the instruction. Really sorry about that. But still it's not optimized for iPad. So I can't recommend this app version to be use on iPad.

I'm not ruuning iOS 7 on my iPad so I can't test it. Having updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7 I'm not overly keen on installing it on my iPad.
