Went to Walmart today and went to the womens hair products section.
Lo and behold a giant package of clear very tiny rubber bands. Hmmm wonder what they could be used for...Works perfectly on a butter coin. (I assume any folding coin) I had to buy a jumbo pack with two other sizes...I now have a lifetime supply of bands.($3.46) I'm sure I will find some use for the other bands. I didn't see anything when I searched but only went back 30 days so sorry if this is a repost. Nick Zender EDITED: Guess this has been brought up before, and worst part is I even posted to the thread...I have to start writing these tips down when I see them. |

Just a side note.
The rubber bands will not be a lifetime supply. Rubber deteriorates all on it’s own. When I redo my folding and flipper type coins, I get bands from my dentist, as he moves them enough to have freshly made ones. Bob |

You guys should check out the topic: Howie Diddits, under the Secret Sessions forum, in the Banquet Room. There are a TON of these types of tips on that post. Lots of extremely interesting stuff, I know it has changed the way I look at "everyday" items when I go with my wife shopping.

I go to my dentist to get braces rubber bands, because you can get a couple sizes.. and my flipper needs a smaller size than my folding loonie.
