Here's the code for getting Excel 2010 to show random cards so you can practice Card to Number for any memory-deck stuff. It's pretty easy.
In Cell A1, type =randbetween(1,13) In Cell B1, type =randbetween(1,4) In Cell A2, type =IF(D5=11,"Jack",IF(D5=12,"Queen",IF(D5=13,"King",IF(D5=1,"Ace",D5)))) In Cell B2, type =IF(E5=1,"Diamonds",IF(E5=2,"Clubs",IF(E5=3,"Hearts","Spades"))) Select Row 1, right click, Hide Up top, click "Formulas" On the far right, click "Calculate Sheet". Every time you click "Calculate Sheet", you'll get a different card. If you want just random numbers between 1 and 52, then off to the side type in any other cell =randbetween(1,52) Every time you click "Calculate Sheet", you'll get a random card, and a random number off to the side. You can work card to number and number to card at the same time. Simple stuff. Have fun.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |
